Albulene Gracevci is a postdoctoral researcher at the EduTech department of the Saarland University. She worked as a teaching assistant at the University Isa Boletini in Kosovo and has completed her previous studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University and Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. Her main research interests include computer-supported collaborative learning, technology-enhanced learning with a special focus on group work, as well as assessment of learning and achievement.
At EduTech M.Sc. she teaches the following foundation courses: Empirical Research Methods I and II (ERM I & ERM II).
Research Interest
My main research interest is to explore the extent to which innovations in educational technology can support learning in groups. More specifically, the use of chatbots, both in the role of a teaching as well as a teachable agent, to support group learning in an online learning environment. In exploring this topic, I am conducting experimental studies to explore how the learning experience is shaped by manipulating interactions with chatbots. Importantly, this research expands from identifying what works well when learning, to explaining how is it that learners learn through their interaction with innovative AI tools.
