Recently, Pierre Tchounikine challenged (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11412-016-9240-8) the Script Theory of Guidance. He argued to consider appropriation of external collaboration scripts, i.e. how learners interpret externally provided collaboration scripts, in SToG.
